The presentation highlighted the importance of corrosion analysis, and the cost of mistakes made from material choices that may have resulted in unexpected galvanic corrosion rates. The presentation then shows how easily with either Corrosion Djinn, NX Corrosion Analysis Risk indicator or Simcenter Star-CCM+ that companies can get a greater understanding of corrosion risk and improve material choices while reducing the amount of physical corrosion testing that a company undergoes which is often an expensive and time-consuming process.
