The Electrodynamic Potential solver model in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ can now leverage Corrdesa’s electrochemical database. With just a few clicks users can assign Surface Materials properties to their model and perform 3D galvanic corrosion risk analysis without having to measure and upload tabular data.
This integration allows users access to over 100 materials with polarization data gathered in both a 3.5% NaCl environment and a MIL-STD-889D (Artificial Seawater / ASTM D1141) environment.
