Background & Technology
Over the last decade Corrdesa has developed a range of robust, mobile systems that enable corrosion remediation, plating and anodizing on complex components in any orientation. Essentially electrochemical treatment plants on wheels.
The non-drip tooling technology improves safety by minimizing chemical and airborne exposures to technicians while avoiding drippage. Treatments can be made directly on the asset saving weeks of time by avoiding disassembly of components and shipping to external surface treatment providers.
Meet The Family
Cost savings, efficiency and ease of use have led to significant success in the Aerospace MRO sector. These green systems are also finding other applications directly in manufacturing where a $500 in-house machine repair of silicon wafer fabrication components avoided $15,000 scrap costs.
Similarly, these systems are capable of anodizing treatments of aluminum friction stir welds on large structures, avoiding the enormous cost and challenge of in-tank anodizing.
We offer several options which you can tailor to meet the different needs of your project.
Electra
CSPL-01
Originally designed for plating, the Electra is now capable of anodizing with the optional, higher power rectifier.
The Electra is the model used by the F-35 program – 100+ systems have been shipped worldwide.
Capable of plating Cd, ZnNi and many other metals. Standard sized non-drip tooling enables repairs of the order of 4in2.

Volta
CSMP-01
The Volta comes with a higher rated rectifier, electrolyte cooling system and bigger, patented non-drip tools to enable larger area anodizing treatments.
This is the same system used on US Navy P-8 submarine hunter fleet (B737 derivative) for leading edge anodizing repairs.
Magna
CSMPC-01
The Magna does it all, electrolytic stripping for corrosion
removal, anodizing, plating, rinsing and passivation.
To address this complexity, the system is shipped with computer control that walks the technician through the process steps and records everything for QA and audit.
The computer control eases deployment by speeding up the training of new staff and ensuring consistency of repairs from one technician to the other.

Each of our products are shown as the base specification.
If you need any changes beyond the base specification we’re happy to work with you to meet your projects needs.
Deployed Systems
Corrdesa have worked with USAF, US Navy and OEMs to qualify a family of systems to address varying repair needs, such as corrosion removal from high strength steel fasteners, anodizing repair of wing leading edges and plating repair of landing gear.
These systems can be optionally controlled by computer.
