Advancing On-Asset Repair: Corrdesa Featured on Materials Performance Podcast
Corrdesa LLC was recently featured in a podcast conversation with Ben DuBose, News Editor at the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), following recognition in the Materials Performance Magazine 2025 Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards.
The award was announced during the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 7, 2025, where innovative technologies advancing corrosion prevention and maintenance practices were recognized.
Corrdesa received the award for its “On-Asset Non-Drip Repair Technology,” developed to restore aircraft coatings directly on the asset while bypassing depot repair cycles. Depot repair cycles are unnecessarily long, often leaving aircraft grounded and impacting readiness. Corrdesa’s Corrosion Remediation Systems bring factory-quality coating restoration directly to the aircraft, reducing downtime and costs while improving readiness and operational efficiency.
During the podcast, Dr. Alan Rose and Dr. Siva Palani discussed the engineering vision behind these systems and how portable repair technologies are helping modernize field-level corrosion maintenance across aerospace and other industrial applications.
