Alan Rose
CEO
Dr. Alan Rose is a recognized expert in computational engineering with over 30 years of experience across the Aerospace & Defense, Chemical & Process, and Nuclear sectors. His career has focused on integrating advanced simulation tools into everyday engineering workflows, driving innovation and safety across critical industries.
As CEO of Corrdesa, Dr. Rose leads the development of cutting-edge technology and software that enable Corrosion Resistant Design, supporting both commercial and military applications. He is a pioneer in the emerging discipline of Computational Corrosion Simulation, which empowers engineers to make smarter, compliant material choices—ultimately leading to more durable and reliable systems.
Dr. Rose began his career applying Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to nuclear process design and safety analysis, later transitioning to the U.S. to support CFD validation in gas turbine combustor development. Over the past 15 years, he has spearheaded the application of electrochemical simulation to predict corrosion and to scale electrochemical processes such as machining, plating, and anodizing.
He holds a BSc from the University of Manchester and a PhD from the University of Sheffield, both in the United Kingdom.

Keith Legg
CTO
Dr. Keith Legg is a globally acknowledged expert on materials, coatings, validation and testing. He ensures that Corrdesa’s R&D addresses the challenge of escalating material development needs in response to the increasing demand for enhanced performance requirements whilst being limited by ever restricting compliance legislation. Dr. Legg’s role is to listen to and interpret client’s needs for corrosion resistant designed products. Corrdesa then identifies and develops promising technologies to meet and satisfy those needs.

Siva Palani
CTO
Quality material data is critical for the success of reliable corrosion simulation. Applying his electrochemical expertise, Dr. Siva Palani has invested considerable effort and resources into customizing equipment, expanding our laboratory, and developing data protocols to ensure acquisition of robust and consistent data. He oversees the training of our lab staff as well as the development of software tools to post-process and manage the data.

Julio Mendez
Lead Senior CFD Engineer
Resourceful and experienced Mechanical engineer with more than 15 years of progressive professional experience in Thermal- Fluids and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), specializing in CFD solvers development with High Performance Computing (HPC) applications.
Dr. Julio Mendez possesses academic and professional experience in CFD; more specifically in Turbulence, Numerical Analysis, High Fidelity Numerical Computation, and Aerodynamics. More recently, he has been involved in hypersonic flows and his research interests vary from shock-turbulence interaction to Large Eddy Simulations and the implementation of Design of Experiments (DoE) and surrogate modeling to accelerate engineering designs.

Bashir Alnajar
CFD Engineer
Dr. Bashir Alnajar is a multiphysics simulation expert with a focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Corrosion Analysis (CAA). He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2020 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Lahjavida between 2021 and 2022.
Dr. Alnajar leverages advanced numerical modeling techniques to simulate complex challenges, from Microbubble Ultrasound Oscillation to Magnetic Nanoparticle Hyperthermia, electrochemical processes, and materials protection. At Corrdesa LLC, he applies surrogate modeling and Design of Experiments (DoE) to improve engineering designs in areas like corrosion prevention, electrochemical machining, and electroplating.
He works closely with the aerospace, manufacturing, and energy industries to develop innovative, data-driven solutions that help predict and prevent corrosion—supporting the long-term reliability and safety of critical systems.

Vinod Upadhyay
Scientist
Dr. Vinod Upadhyay is a scientist with over 15 years of expertise in corrosion science, coatings technology, and electrochemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in Coatings and Polymeric Materials and a Master’s in Corrosion Science and Engineering.
A recipient of the prestigious DAAD German fellowship, Dr. Upadhyay has contributed to cutting-edge research and industrial innovation. He currently works closely with aerospace and commercial companies, applying advanced materials science to solve real-world corrosion concerns, lifetime prediction, and performance challenges.

Vivien Rose
Production Manager
Vivien Rose has a unique background founded in Physical Anthropology, mechanics and teaching. Growing up over a race shop, she began learning about mechanics at a young age and continued to assist in engine repair throughout her attendance at Kennesaw State University while she pursued her B.S. in Anthropology. While earning her degree, she developed a love for teaching and travel which earned her the honor of being a Field School Assistant Director at the Greek Osteology Study Center for East Crete in Greece, in 2017.
Vivien became part of Corrdesa’s team as a lab assistant. Over the last 8 years, she has combined her soft and technical skills, including proficiency in developing training strategies, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities, to oversee the production of over 100 Corrosion Mitigation Systems at Corrdesa.
Working closely with non-drip technology since beginning as a lab assistant in 2017, she uses her years of experience electroplating to lead the training efforts both domestically and around the world.

Amber Crowder
Scientist
Amber Crowder is a key member of the Corrdesa team, bringing a strong background in laboratory-based research and development to the field of corrosion chemistry. Her prior experience spans a variety of R&D environments, with a focus on process improvement and hands-on experimentation.
At Corrdesa, she supports both internal research initiatives and customer-facing activities, including the training of students with Corrdesa’s corrosion remediation equipment. She plays an active role in developing and refining protocols and procedures to assist both Corrosion Djinn’s performance and equipment functionality .
